Credence Insurance Agency, Inc. was formed to meet the needs of our clients and to help insure that they are not taken advantage of, oversold, under protected, or mistreated in the process of obtaining insurance. It is our goal to take this philosophy beyond our client base, to the community we serve.

After many years serving this sector, Todd and Lisa realized a growing need to help their clients find cost effective and appropriate insurance.

Todd Byars M. Todd Byars, a licensed Certified Public Accountant, has spent the last twenty years in the financial services industry. After receiving a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Taxation from Georgia State University, Todd spent seven years with the international accounting firm Deloitte & Touche, LLP. While at Deloitte, Todd served many medium to large public and private sized companies including Holiday Inn Worldwide, United Parcel Service, The Equitable Companies, and Cox Enterprises.

In 1997, Todd and his wife Lisa founded Crabapple Financial Services, Inc., an accounting and consulting firm designed to serve small to medium sized businesses, and individuals with tax, accounting and financial planning needs.

Lisa Mellow Byars has prior experience in Corporate America in Human Resources and Benefits serving many different need levels. Personally, being self employed we understand the difficulty of navigating through the insurance process and making the right choice for your family and employees.

Dina F. Vassil is a sales/marketing professional with over 10 years of experience. She left corporate America and enjoys working for a small, family-owned business dedicated to personal service for its clients.
Dina has a BA in English from The College of Charleston and an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University.She is a licensed agent in life, accident and health.
She has been married to Vince for 22 years and has three great children.
